Overview & Ratings
A stationary bike is a great choice for serious cyclists who want to continue bike training during off-seasons, casual cyclists who don’t want to take their bike out every single day, or people who just like the feel of using a stationary bike. There are a lot of great stationary bikes on the market to choose from, but some of them can get pricey. The Sunny Health and Fitness bike is an excellent option on the lower price end, for those on a budget. It’s small enough to fit comfortably in most homes, and it’s durable too. The Sunny Health and Fitness stationary bike is not technologically advanced – it doesn’t feature a computer for monitoring fitness goals and heart rate – but it does do a good job of simulating the sensation of riding an on-road bike. Its belt drive system, simple design, smooth flywheel, push down break, and bike-like tension resistance all work together to imitate a genuine cycling experience.
Based on our extensive analysis, we’re currently giving the Sunny Health and Fitness bike a rating of 8.2 out of 10.

The Sunny Health and Fitness bike uses a belt-drive system that doesn’t produce any noise, guaranteeing a silent workout.
Durable and Sturdy
Built out of strong materials, the Sunny Health B1002 is sturdy and unlikely to break down. The solid chromed flywheel is heavy-duty and can go through many exercise cycles without diminished quality.
The Sunny Health and Fitness bike is equipped with transportation wheels at its front for easy movement. All you need to do is lift the bike from the back and push forward. This makes the Sunny Health and Fitness spin bike ideal for smaller homes.

The Sunny Health and Fitness pro indoor cycling bike is a nice piece of exercise equipment. Many other Sunny exercise bike reviews are also positive and it’s easy to understand why. The bike rides smoothly and like an outdoor bike, it’s durable and quiet, aesthetically pleasing with red accents against dark grey, and uncomplicated.
A Cheaper Option
The Sunny Health and Fitness bike costs a lot less than a number of other indoor stationary bikes available for purchase and works just as well. The Sunny spin bike makes a good substitute to fancier bikes found at gyms with expensive membership deals, all at a fraction of the price. Not to mention, you can bring the gym home with this one. This bike is perfect for budget-conscious health enthusiasts.
Water Bottle Holder
If you’ve ever experienced a particularly intense workout, you’ll know how easy it is to become dehydrated. A water bottle holder on any piece of exercise machinery is an asset. The Sunny Health and Fitness bike luckily comes equipped with one. That way you can keep your preferred workout drink close at hand, for those moments when you’ve broken a sweat and need a break.
The Sunny Health and Fitness bike’s square handlebar gives you the flexibility to workout in multiple different positions. You can lean forward, with your arms resting against the parallel horizontal bars, or you can sit up straight, with your hands gripping the sidebars or the lower bar. You can lean even further across the handlebar, or even raise yourself to a standing position on the pedals, and hold onto the extended sidebars. You can add variety to your workout by changing up your positions.
Feels Like an Outdoor Bike
The Sunny Health and Fitness bike is inspired by the classic outdoor bike and made to be a stationary, indoor replica of it. The tension dial is functionally similar to that of a real bike. There’s a push down emergency brake that instantly stops the flywheel from spinning, much like the brake on an outdoor bike. The Sunny spin bike, like the classic bike, is built modestly. It doesn’t have a lot of extra features, but that keeps the machine as simple and uncomplicated as your outdoor bike.
There are many ways to make the Sunny spin bike more comfortable for you. The seat can be slid forward or backward, pulled up, or pushed down. The handlebar can then be moved up or down to match the height of the seat or to meet your own preferences. That isn’t even mentioning the adjustable resistance. It’s easy to customize the Sunny fitness spin bike to meet your own expectations and needs. Because of its highly adjustable nature, the Sunny spin bike accommodates people of most heights.
The Sunny Health & Fitness indoor cycle trainer is easy to move around your house. There are two transportation wheels at the front of the bike. To move it, simply lift the back end of the bike up and push it forward. You can wheel your Sunny over to face your TV and workout in front of your favorite shows, movies, nature scenes, and motivational exercise videos. When you’re done working out, you can push your stationary bike into a corner to await its next use.
The Sunny Health and Fitness bike is not complicated, but neither is your favorite outdoor bicycle, to be fair.
The Sunny stationary bike doesn’t come with a lot of bells and whistles. There is no computer with heart rate monitor and goal setting options, or any other technologically advanced features. You’ll have to spend extra for monitoring equipment, if having it truly matters to you. The plus side to having limited technological features, though, is achieving a more authentic simulation of outdoor biking.
The Sunny Health and Fitness bike is already designed to feel as close to a real bike as possible, and keeping it technologically simple reinforces that. If you were on the road with a real bicycle, it would only be you, the scene before you, and your bike. Any supplementary monitors and music players would be attached to you, not your bicycle.
The Sunny Health and Fitness bike gets a final rating of 8 out of 10. It may be lacking in a few features, like a computer for monitoring fitness goals, but it’s still a superior stationary bike to consider bringing into your home. It’s relatively inexpensive compared to other similar products, it’s attractive and compact, it’s not hard to figure out, and it’s a suitable substitute for an outdoor bike.
The lack of technologically advanced features is indeed a flaw in our modern day and age, but this is an easy fix if you’re willing to spend extra money on third-party fitness monitors (and if you’re already a seasoned fitness nut, you probably already have these).
The Sunny Health and Fitness bike isn’t hard to move in front of a TV, so you can add variety by use of technology to your exercise sessions. Your music player can be put in your pocket, clipped to the waist of your pants, or strapped around your arm. Also check out Best Spin Bike and Indoor Cycle Reviews 2018.
Overall, this is a good piece of equipment and its flaws are easy to make up for. Keeping your workouts fresh and exciting on the Sunny Health and Fitness bike shouldn’t be too difficult either. We’re giving this product our thumbs-up.

Question & Answers
Q. How difficult is it to assemble the Sunny Health and Fitness bike?
A. It’s not hard. It took about half-an-hour. The design is intuitive and the instructions were easy enough to understand.
Q. Why did you go with a belt-driven stationary bike over a chain-driven one?
A. You need oil to maintain a chain drive. The oil accumulates dirt, which sometimes derails the chain. Chains can also be noisy. On the other hand, stationary bikes that use belts, like the Sunny indoor cycling bike, are quieter and smoother.
Q. Can the Sunny Health fitness bike be used for rehabilitation?
A. Yes, the tension on the Sunny Health and Fitness bike can be adjusted for low resistance training.
