Features and Specs
- Dimensions: 4’9” H x 2’8” L x 1’8” W
- Weight: 180 pounds
The ProForm Cardio HIIT Trainer is a powerful, technologically advanced piece of exercise equipment that gives you a full-body workout. Most of the ProForm HIIT Trainer’s many features are technological, but the machine still manages to provide for more standard biological needs too.
10” Climbing Path
The ProForm HIIT Trainer mimics the motions of walking up a steep incline. This means the machine exercises and targets multiple different areas of the body, including your calves, hamstrings, quads, glutes, biceps, and triceps.
iPod Compatible Audio
Synch up your iPod with your ProForm HIIT Trainer and blast your music from the acoustic speakers on the machine. Avoid the hassle of trying to keep your headphones or earbuds in place.
Display your tablet or smartphone on the integrated tablet mount. Watch your favorite movies or shows during your workout.
7” Backlit Screen
Display all your workout data on a sizable screen. The display monitor allows you to instantly track your speed, time, distance, calories burned, heart rate, and incline/decline statistics.
32 Workout Apps
Use the ProForm HIIT Trainer’s Bluetooth to connect your unit with 32 iFit health apps. These apps let you track data, develop personalized workout plans, improve your nutrition, find fitness advice, and even modify your sleeping patterns.
24 Resistance Levels
The ProForm HIIT Trainer’s tension levels can be adjusted anywhere between 1 and 24. You get a wide range of resistance settings to suit any fitness level.
EKG Heart Rate Grip
The handlebars of the ProForm HIIT Trainer come equipped with built-in pulse-tracking pads that monitor your heart rate as you hold onto the handlebars.
Aside from pulse pads, the handlebars are also constructed with integrated volume and resistance controls, letting you turn the volume or resistance up and down without losing grip of your machine. The handlebars can be held in several different places as well, giving you the freedom to change up your hand positions and better target certain muscle groups.
Cool Air Workout Fan
Under the display screen of the ProForm HIIT Trainer is a fan that can be used to keep you feeling fresh while you’re breaking a sweat. The fan blows a stream of cool air directly onto your face during your workouts.
Water Bottle Holder
Further keep yourself feeling fresh by taking advantage of the ProForm HIIT Trainer’s water bottle holder. Store your hydrating workout fluids close at hand.
The ProForm HIIT Trainer’s vertical design means the machine is already compact, but its transportation wheels make it even more space saving. When you’re not using the ProForm HIIT Trainer, you can move it out of the way on its portability wheels.
350 lbs. Weight Capacity
The ProForm HIIT Trainer is sturdy enough to support up to 350 lbs.
The frame of the ProForm Cardio HIIT is covered by a lifetime warranty. Parts are under a 3-year warranty. Labor is warranted for 1 year.
Shipping and Assembly
The ProForm HIIT Trainer can be shipped to States within the U.S. This product is not eligible for international shipping. The ProForm Cardio HIIT Trainer comes with all necessary parts for assembly, but you’ll need one Phillips screwdriver to put the parts together. No batteries are required; the machine is electric.
The ProForm HIIT Trainer is extremely likable. With adjustable 24-level resistance settings and motions that target your whole body, this machine can deliver the best possible workout for anyone. The many technological features elevate the already useful ProForm HIIT Trainer and make it as equally as fun as it is efficient.
iPod Compatible Audio
Staying entertained during repetitive workouts can be a challenge sometimes. The ProForm HIIT Trainer already comes included with a tablet holder, but becomes even more modern with the inclusion of speakers that play audio files from your iPod aloud. Exercise to your favorite tunes or podcasts and keep your workouts interesting.
32 Workout Apps
Using Bluetooth, you’re able to hook up the ProForm HIIT Trainer to 32 different iFit health apps. These apps add variety to your workout and take your health and fitness strategies up a level. Aside from basic data tracking apps, you get access to apps that assist you in personalizing your exercise sessions in multiple ways. Look for customized workout apps, tips from personal coaches, sleep suggestions, nutrition info, daily activities, and more. The options are impressive.
7” Display Screen
A 7” display is a bit larger than the screen of the average smart phone. This is larger than the typical display screen on most pieces of exercise equipment. That means you’ll see a lot more of your data at once and get a clearer picture of information fed from any connected fitness apps. On this screen, you can track your standard workout data (speed, time, distance, calories burned, heart rate, and incline/decline statistics), play around with any of the 32 associated apps, check your workout plans, and so on.
EKG Heart Rate Grip
There’s no need to buy a third-party heart rate monitor. The ProForm HIIT Trainer comes with its own reliable pulse checker. The handlebars have built-in pads that give you a reading on your heart rate when you wrap your hands around them. If cardio is an important component of your health and fitness routine, then this machine has you covered.
Cool Air Workout Fan
Breaking a sweat is a common occurrence when working out, and with the ProForm HIIT Trainer’s 24-level tension adjuster you’re bound to start feeling the sweat dripping down your forehead. Having a way to cool your body down is never a bad thing. The ProForm HIIT Trainer comes with such a device to serve this purpose. There’s an integrated cooling workout fan under the display screen. Turn it on or off to deliver blasts of refreshing cold air.
10” Climbing Path
A 10” climbing path presents more of a challenge for your body than smaller stepping paths do. You have to use your whole body to make the ascent, like you would if you were climbing a steep incline, such as a rock wall or mountain trail. While 10” may not seem like a lot or remotely compare to the height of an actual mountain, it’s still enough to work your whole body. The 10” climbing path of the ProForm HIIT Trainer is an indoor-friendly way of helping you define your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, biceps, and triceps.
There isn’t much to hate about the ProForm HIIT Trainer. When it comes to technological features, it pulls out all the stops. It provides a fully-body workout, is customizable and practical, and fits well in any home. The price might be a little overwhelming for some, but it’s fairly reasonable considering how much this machine has to offer.
The only possible complaint, according to a number of other ProForm Cardio HIIT Trainer reviews, is that the machine is prone to squeaking and wobbling. Apparently there’s an easy fix to this problem, though. If you make a few small adjustments to the bolts and level spacers at the base of the unit, the squeaking stops and the machine stabilizes.
ProForm HIIT Trainer and ProForm HIIT Trainer Pro reviews are mostly positive, and our own is no different. Our rating remains an 8 out of 10. The ProForm HIIT Trainer is an incredibly versatile piece of exercise equipment. There may be a few complaints about its overall quality, but once you figure out a way to overcome its slight flaws then you’re left with an exercise machine that can do a lot for you. Expect to tone almost every muscle in your body. Add excitement to your workout and fight potential boredom by playing your iPod’s music through the ProForm HIIT Trainer’s speakers, putting your electronic device in the tablet holder, or using one of the 32 connected health apps. With this machine, there are a lot of ways to keep your workout fresh. You can also keep yourself fresh on the ProForm HIIT Trainer too. The unit is designed with features that tend to your body’s basic workout needs, like a water bottle holder to help you stay hydrated and a cooling fan to keep your body temperature down. The machine is compact as well. You won’t have a lot of trouble keeping it in your house. Overall, the ProForm HIIT Trainer stands a great chance of working well for you.
